Peter: Fifth Month

Above: Look at that expression and that drool! Ha ha!

Above: I just love this guy. Look at those cheeks! Look at those eyes! Look at that chin! Look at that mouth! What a cute nose! What a sweet belly!

Above: Going on a hike with Laurie awhile before her wedding.

Above: Jeremiah said it would only be about a 15 minute hike. So, we covered Peter up in the hopes of avoiding sunburn...but my poor sweet baby got a sunburn because the hike took a lot longer than 15 minutes!

Above: This guy loves the great outdoors though. He adores being outside. He reaches his "zen" when he is outside.

Above: It was a beautiful day though.

Above: Jeremiah ended up running back down the mountain and down the trail with Peter because he had had too much sun. Laurie and I figured we would be fine hiking down by ourselves...but we took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up coming out of a completely different place. Luckily, Jeremiah was still able to find us. The saddest part about the day? Is trying to cool Peter's sunburned skin. I dabbed him with some cool cloths. He took one from me and dabbed his own face with it trying to comfort himself. :(

Above: Here he is a few days later healed from his sunburn and as happy as can be.

Above: What a sweet smile!

Above: I love him! He makes me so happy!

Above: Cousin Maddie was in town for Aunt Laurie's wedding. Good cousin time!

Above: I love these little overall shorts on Peter.

Above: He is chubby, but oh so little!

Above: The happy couple!

Above: My sweet and sassy brothers!

Above: Oh, so so happy! :)

Above: We got a visit from Krissy and her family, so we went to the Thanksgiving Point dinosaur museum together (there is a post just on that later as well).

Above: Oh, I want to pinch those chubby cheeks!

Above: In the years after this, Peter has posed on this baby protoceratops many a time!

Above: At Laurie's wedding dinner. Things started off quite happily.

Above: However, it took a really long time to get the food out to us and anyone who has been to a restaurant with a baby/toddler, you know that they don't have a lot of patience in that situation.

Above: The kiddies had to get out and take a break from the restaurant atmosphere.

Above: Aunt Emily watched Peter and Maddie while we were in the temple for Laurie's wedding. It was a hot day and Peter was a tired boy!

Above: What a cutie.

Above: I love those chubby rosy cheeks.

Above: This physical guy of mine also learned to roll over on his own when he was five months old.

Above: Look at him go!

Above: Mission accomplished!

Above: He's pretty pleased with himself.

Above: "Yes, Jeeves, I would like to play with my love bug right now."

Above: Big smiles!
