I would like to share some of my favorite playtime moments that I captured on my camera.
Above: Classic Peek-a-boo with dad.
Above: How Peter feels about kisses from dad (because of dad's stubble).
Above: This guy loves bath time (plus, this picture documents a momentous occasion because I actually did my hair and make-up! This happens, of course, but nowhere near as often as it used to).
Above: My little race car driver hanging out with dad.
Above: Playing peek-a-boo back and forth in the closet (yes, I know my mirrors need to be washed).
Above: Okay, this was more my play time than his. Peter was patiently watching Sesame Street while he let me pile all of his favorite blankets on top of him. I sure love my Mount Peter!
Above: Pete loves playing in our laundry basket!
Above: Playing the "chase and be chased" game.
Above: Peter focused on his cars--much more focused than he is on me or the camera.
Above: Pete's bed-head. He even plays hard in his sleep.
Above: Peter used to hate having things on his head...until dad got this handy-dandy snowboarding beanie, that is!
Above: Hanging out with mom and dad in my bedroom is the best!
Wow! That was a lot of pictures! But my mom will be happy! She always wants more grandbaby pictures!
I sure love that hard-playing little guy of mine!
I think "chase and be chased" is just a fancy name for tag!
ReplyDeleteYou sassy sister! I guess you're mostly right, except that this game contains the phrases "I'm chasing you! I'm chasing you!" and "Oh no! He's chasing me! He's chasing me!"
ReplyDeleteI love the second beanie pic-- he looks like he's posing in an Abercrombie catalog. Of course, the animal sleeper PJs kind of interfere a bit in that regard... What a cute kid!
ReplyDeleteLaurie, you are wrong. It is a chase and be chased game. There is no tag involved. That boy loves to chase. When he hits elementary, the little girls on the playground are in for it!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Krissy. That picture looks like he's a little male model.
