My Mischievous Guy!

Above: These pictures have nothing to do with this blog, but they show what a playful little guy I have on my hands. Peter loves to play in the couch when I make it into a fort for him.

So, let me tell you a story about my cute little guy, Peter.

Jeremiah loves sour candy. While we were out running errands, Jeremiah decided to buy some Warheads. Pete loves candy...but not when it's as sour as Warheads. When Jeremiah opened the package of Warheads, Peter of course wanted to try some. Jeremiah opened one and let him have a little lick. He definitely didn't like it and his face registered the appropriate level of sourness.

The next evening, Jeremiah had fallen asleep on the couch. Peter found a Warhead candy and gestured for me to open it for him. I knew he wouldn't want to eat it, but he was insistent, so I thought I'd give him another try. He took one lick, and again decided that it was definitely not his kind of candy. However, he motioned for me to give him the whole piece of candy. I initially resisted because I was worried that he would try to put the whole thing in his mouth. Well, he continued to ask for it, so I let him have it.

Once Peter had the candy, he practically tiptoed over to where Jeremiah was asleep on the couch. He looked over his shoulder at me with the most mischievous look on his face. I thought "Let's just wait and see how this plays out." Well, he walked right over to Jeremiah and tried to put the Warhead in his mouth while he was asleep! Luckily for Jeremiah (though much to my disappointment), Peter's aim was just a little off and he missed Jeremiah's mouth and Jeremiah woke up. Peter just started to giggle. He was so proud of himself!

I think I am in for a lot of practical jokes once this little guy of mine gets bigger!
