Jonathan Jeremiah Washburn was born on February 23, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 13 oz and measured 19 inches long.
It was a much easier labor than my first one! Whew! I was praying that I wouldn't go into labor on the 23rd (my actual due date) because I had to take Peter up to Primary Children's Hospital that morning to get his cast put on him. Well, the Lord had other plans!
I started feeling labor pains at 7 a.m. Luckily, Jonathan waited until after Peter's doctor's appointment to make his entrance into the world. However, I was having contractions about 10 minutes apart throughout Peter's appointment!
Peter is doing well and adjusting to the cast. He also seems to be excited about his new brother...but he DOES NOT like the hospital and wanted me to leave ASAP. However, I can't leave until tomorrow!
But all is well and I will be home soon enough!

ReplyDeleteYay, yay, yay! I am so excited for you! You look so beautiful in your photo too. You are an amazing woman! How exciting to have another sweet little guy join your family. He is so tiny! I am glad Pete was able to get his cast on too, at least a little before Jonathan came!
