May, Part 1: Time to Visit the Zoo

The dinosaurs were back at the zoo this summer. It sealed the deal and I renewed my zoo membership because of it.

Above: As you can tell, the boys were excited to visit the zoo again. What a ham.

Above: "Smile, boys!"

Above: "How about a nice, normal, handsome smile, Pete?" Yeah...I didn't get it this time. He was too busy hamming it up.

Above: Isn't that Johnny of mine so sweet?

Above: Pete was too busy moving from point A to point B to stay in one place for too long.

Above: I guess there is no sign right here that says, "Don't feed the animals," so I guess it is okay.

Above: We got to see lots of animals at play today.

Above: Even the sloth was hanging out super close so we could check him out. What a sweet little guy!

Above: It is definitely hard work to ride a bike that is attached to the ground...especially when you can't reach the pedals yet.

Above: "What? I'm just standing on a lioness' head." I love how Johnny is petting the lioness though.

Above: "No big deal."

Above: They are getting bigger!

Above: Nammy treated the boys to ice cream at the end of our visit.

Above: There was still time to go for a ride on the train though! The train had been out of commission for awhile, but it's back now!

Above: Everyone is hamming it up. Maybe they got the "hamming it up" gene from their Nammy. Hmmmm.
