Daddy's Boy

Peter is definitely a "daddy's boy." He gets worked up to a tizzie whenever Jeremiah comes home. If Jeremiah doesn't go straight to him and pick him up when he gets home (for instance, if he decides to set down his bag first, hang up a coat, go to the bathroom, etc.), the following happens:

First, when Peter sees Jeremiah, he will start to grunt (for lack of a better word) and huff and puff with his whole body moving up and down while he smiles excitedly.

Second, if Jeremiah walks past him, he will stamp his foot.

Third, if Jeremiah doesn't come and get him after that, he will double over, put his face in the carpet (with his bum in the air) and sob into the floor.

Peter is really quite mild-mannered at home during the day with me. But when daddy comes home, another Pete takes over!
