November 2012, Part 1

Above: Starting out the month playing in mom and dad's bed!

Above: Aunt Laurie and cousin Thomas came out for a visit at the beginning of the month, so we went to the Thanksgiving Point dinosaur museum with our cousin Thomas.

Above: Jonathan was being shy and he refused to let me put him down. I had to go back out to the car to get our stroller so that I wouldn't have to carry him the whole time!

Above: Jonathan even insisted on staying in his stroller while he played with the erosion table!

Above: Peter and Thomas playing in the sand and water with the dinos. Aunt Laurie was smart and took Thomas' shirt off while he played. It's fun at that erosion table, but it is also messy!

Above: Cute cousins having a good time at Nammy's house!

Above: Boys will be boys. The cousins decided that it would be fun to have a little screaming match.

Above: These boys have a good time together just being silly.

Above: Nammy always has the best food to eat!

Above: The screaming match is beginning in earnest now.

Above: Just checking out different tones, pitches, levels of loudness, etc. for the screaming match.

Above: Seriously, the boys were having a blast and all the adults were laughing at the silliness of these boys!

Above: As you can see, Peter wasn't holding back. Jonathan, on the other hand, was giving a low and steady growl the whole time. Here Thomas is taking a break to smile at the antics of his cousins.

Above: And now Thomas is joining right back in on the fun.

Above: I am including this picture because it includes a great example of one of my brother's favorite hobbies: photo bombing.

Above: After a good screaming match, there is nothing like a good game of hide and seek.

Above: Thomas got in on the hide and seek action too.

Above: Not to be outdone, Peter joined in too.

Above: We got to the zoo with cousin Thomas.

Above: Just posin' with the gorilla.

Above: These sure are cute cousins.

Above: What a cute cousin!

Above: Following the leader...and riding a seal together.

Above: What a sweet guy! He still wouldn't leave his stroller though! Still being shy!

Above: This new section of the zoo sure has some fun things to play with!

Above: I'm not going to lie. I have no idea what either of these boys are doing...I just thought they both looked cute doing it!

Above: Thomas and Jonathan both decided that it was super fun to run back and forth on each side of my bookcase...and then laugh and laugh at each other...and then repeat.

Above: Switch places!

Above: PJ's are on and now Peter is ready to be part of the action as well.

Above: These cousins have good times together!

Above: We asked Jonathan and Thomas to give each other hugs and amazingly, they complied. Aren't they cute!?

Above: Saying goodbye to Aunt Laurie and cousin Thomas. They came up to visit us one night while they were in town. Luckily, we still had a few days with them after this!

Above: I don't remember what we were coming back from, but we got a Little Caesar's Pizza and some Crazy Bread. We must have tuckered Jonathan out because when I turned around to look at him, he was completely asleep...with a breadstick still in his mouth.

Above: Here is Nammy holding and loving baby Grant at one of our Sunday dinners.

Above: We got some snow at the beginning of November and we decided to use this super fun snow dyeing kit that Mimi gave to Peter for his birthday last year. Peter is more of a demolisher than a creator...he had more fun walking through these creations and churning them with his feet than actually creating them.

Above: Here is another one.

Above: We had a nice little play dough night as a family. Doesn't Jonathan look so silly and sweet in this picture? Look at that belly!

Above: This was probably what Peter would define as a perfect night for him. He had such a good time. He loves to play with play dough.

More of November 2012 to come shortly!

  1. So much fun!!!

I had forgotten about that screaming match. It was hilarious and amazingly spontaneous. You can't make that stuff up!
