Above: Nammy got us some cool wax lips with fangs and wax mustaches. We broke Jonathan of his binky a few weeks ago, and when he discovered that these fangs could act as a binky substitute, he was all for them! He actually wore these to the grocery store (he almost wore them the whole time too).
Above: We went to Boo at the Zoo on the 27th. It was really quite cold. Jonathan is not quite as adventurous as his older brother. He is happy to stay in his stroller safety net most of the time. Plus, he REFUSED to wear his Batman costume.
Above: Peter, on the other hand, popped out of the stroller as soon as he saw his cousins. He looked so cute in his Captain America (or Capit Amekika, according to him) costume. Whenever he wore his mask though, we could never seem to keep it on straight (to be in line with his eyes). Cute anyway, though!

Above: After our cousins had to leave, we got to check out the wolves (which you almost never see because they keep themselves out of sight). Not only were the wolves in plain sight, but they were having a tussle as well and the boys were captivated. Jonathan is also covered in orange from his Doritos that we got as a treat from one of the Halloween booths giving out candy and treats.

Above: Yup, even when we go outside to set out our newly carved pumpkins, Peter is in the buff.
Above: But Peter lives life to the fullest! Whether he is in the buff or dressed!
Above: Maybe next year, they will realize that the point of a Jack o' Lantern is not to blow out the candles the moment they are lit.
Above: The parade of costumes continues. Peter "shared" Jonathan's Batman costume. At this point, he was saying that he wanted to be Batman for Halloween. Uh-oh. What is a Mom to do when there is a perfectly good Captain America costume that needs to be worn?

Above: Daddy was able to coax Jonathan into wearing his Batman costume for Halloween. He initially didn't want to, but he was a really good sport about it.

Above: It's kind of hard to tell in this picture, but Jeremiah and I dressed up in our pajamas and called ourselves "Parents who need to get more sleep." It wasn't only a costume. It was real life. Besides, we were very comfortable.
Above: This was the only picture we got of the two boys together. After trunk-or-treating, we went to Wendy's to get some food. Jonathan was sad because he thought Jeremiah was trying to take away his candy bucket. Every time we had to move that bucket to get Jonathan in his car seat, he would cry because he thought we were taking his candy!
And there you have it! October for the Washburns in only four parts! I guess I took a lot of pictures this month! Ha ha!
Jonathan was pretty protective of that candy. :)

I loved visiting with you at the Trunk Or Treat! You have two of the cutest boys...their faces are so expressive, there is no hiding their feelings.
