February, Part 2: Johnny's Birthday and Conclusion

Above: Johnny wanted a Power Rangers cake. This is what I made for him. I ordered the edible picture online, and seriously, the picture alone was a hit. The boys thought the edible picture was super tasty and they couldn't get enough of it. I'll have to do more of those in the future!

Above: Here are my boys admiring Johnny's cake first thing in the morning.

Above: I dropped my camera on President's Day when we went to the new museum at Thanksgiving Point. At the time, I thought my camera was fine. But after taking a number of blurry pictures, and on closer inspection, I discovered that a screw had popped out, the casing of the camera was slightly open, and the flash no longer worked. As a result, the pictures from Johnny's birthday didn't turn out so hot...which makes me sad, but at least I got a few decent ones!

Above: Poor tired Daddy. The boys are bright eyed and bushy tailed though!

Above: Nammy came up to see us after church and to open presents with us. Here is Johnny inspecting Nammy's presents.

Above: We love our Nammy!

Above: Nammy picked out the coolest play dough toys for Johnny!

Above: We had a fun night playing with play dough after Nammy left.

Above: The boys both got a pad of Crayola metallic paper and special markers that don't draw on anything but that paper.

Above: Johnny got some new shirts just like Peter had on his birthday. Johnny loved his shirts.

Above: Johnny also got a scooter just like Peter had on his birthday. Johnny's scooter has three wheels though because he's still little. Oh, I love him!

Above: He'll get on it eventually.

Above: The aftermath.

Above: Again, the boys couldn't wait until after dinner to have cake, so we sang "Happy Birthday" to Johnny after lunch time.

Above: I love this guy so much and I can't believe that my boys are already five and three years old. My life has changed so much since they came to be with us. I don't know what I would do without them and I wouldn't trade them for the world.

  1. Johnny's such the sweetheart and I'm so glad he's a big 3 year old and that I could celebrate with him! I love how they are always excited to show off their cakes.
