Above: On our last day in Twin Falls, Jeremiah took the boys swimming in the hotel pool in the morning, and then we packed up to head home. It was a drizzly day. The light rain kept us from exploring "The Great Valley," so we had to be satisfied with driving to see some amazing views and taking a few quick walks on the Perrine Bridge and down in the valley looking up.
Above: The pictures don't do this valley justice. It is just so cool looking. Just beautiful and breathtaking.
Above: A view of the bridge from the other side.
Above: I like to pull these goofy poses because it drives Jeremiah crazy.
Above: Here is a normal pose for Jeremiah's sake.
Above: Lots of gorgeous waterfalls--big and small--in Twin Falls.
Above: If it hadn't been so rainy, we would have loved to have explored this park more. It had a lot of great trails that we would have loved to walk/hike on.
Above: Jeremiah LOVES this picture. :)
Above: Really beautiful scenery in Twin Falls. The black lava rock gave the surroundings such a unique feel.
Above: The boys made a few brief appearances, but they preferred to stay in the van because it was cool and rainy.
Above: Bye, bye Twin Falls!
Above: The evening that we returned to Salt Lake was cold and very rainy, but Aunt Theresa was in town, so we had a whirlwind visit with her in the Amber Room of The Museum of Natural History at Thanksgiving Point. After Aunt Theresa headed back to her hotel, the kids had a blast going through the museum and playing in the erosion table.
Above: We sure packed in a lot during those three days! Good times!
Shoshone looks so cool. I hope to go there sometime in the Spring so I can get the full effect. This looks like a really fun trip!
