December, Part 4: Conclusion!

Above: The day after Christmas, we finally made it out to see the Zoo Lights. We got to go with cousins AJ and Ty.

Above: It was really cold, and Johnny opted to remain in the stroller the whole time. I can't say that I blamed him.

Above: Of course, the natural thing to do on New Year's Eve is to dress up in your swim suits and rash guards. Right?

Above: On New Year's Eve, we stayed home and played with all of our building toys that Santa gave us.

Above: Jeremiah told me to take a picture of myself because he said I don't document my presence in our lives enough.

December, Part 3: Christmas!

Above: David the Elf finally let Peter hold him and play with him on Christmas Eve. He also introduced Peter to his Christmas Eve stuffed animal--a cute and cuddly German Shepherd puppy.

Above: Peter was pretty pleased.

Above: This guy thrives off of days like Christmas Eve.

Above: Here is Peter taking a picture with his German Shepherd puppy, Dad's Alaskan Huskie, and Mom's peacock. Mom and Dad don't usually get stuffed animals, but this year, Mom couldn't quite narrow it down.

Above: My sweet Johnny got a Golden Retriever puppy dog. I look pretty scary, but it's because I got up early to exercise.

Jeremiah had a pretty rough day. We're not exactly sure what hit him. He had a fever, he said his tooth hurt, etc. So, while we had a good day, it wasn't exactly what we had been hoping for or expecting. The bishop came by after we had put the boys to bed to give Jeremiah a blessing. He blessed Jeremiah to be healed so we could enjoy the holiday. Jeremiah's fever broke just before the boys woke up on Christmas morning.

Above: Peter got some Skylanders figurines and a Skylanders shirt from Santa and Johnny got some puppies and a puppy shirt from Santa. 

Above: Johnny, true to form, was too hungry to continue opening presents without first dipping into his stocking for something to tide him over.

Above: Next up? Nammy's and Grandpa Niel's house. Nammy was too good to us.

Above: Then we headed off to see Dad and Rhonda.

Above: Grandpa sure picks out some fun presents.

Above: The badge on Dad's shirt says, "Does this shirt make me look fat?" I would say "Jolly."

Above: After Grandpa and Rhonda's house, we went home for a little nap/quiet time. That evening, we went to see Mimi and Papa.

Above: It was a great Christmas. Besides Dad getting sick, we couldn't have asked for a better one.
