April, Part 5: Hanging With Dad

Above: Nothing is better than bouncing on the trampoline with Dad!

Above: Though bouncing on the tramp tuckers Dad out.

Above: Having lots of fun! Pete won't let a bloody nose stop him from having a good time (bloody nose due to him picking it).

Above: How is this for an awesome action shot?

Above: These guys sure love their Dad.

Above: Sometimes Mom even gets in on the fun!

Above: After bouncing on the trampoline for a bit, we went and rode bikes in the church parking lot.

Above: Until the moon came out! Then it was time to go home.

April, Part 4: Peter's First Soccer Game

Above: Peter starting soccer is the beginning of an era. This kid loves sports, and he is awesome at it. I am really proud of him.

Above: He especially loves being the goalie.

Above: This guy keeps his eye on the ball at all times.

Above: I love him! Too bad Johnny gets bored really easily at Peter's games!

Above: These games are so fun to watch!

Above: I love to watch Pete's face. He loves playing so much.

Above: I've got one handsome little athlete on my hands!

April, Part 3: A Trip to Farm Country

April means Farm Country is open again at Thanksgiving Point! Yay! The boys always love to go, and it is always a good outing for our family. Plus the boys desperately needed to get out. They felt really cooped up after that long winter.

Above: I love that Pete's hand is on Johnny's back here. They may fight a lot, but these brothers love each other a lot too.

Above: Sunny days are good days!

Above: Johnny refused to ride, so Peter got to ride twice.

Above: Peter was also really nice and let me take lots of pictures of him while he was on the pony.

Above: Those baby goats sure were cute!

The only downfall to this visit? I am pretty sure that my boys somehow caught the flu here after playing in the harvesting play area. As a result, Peter was completely sick during his preschool spring break. :(

April, Part 2: Soccer and Conference Weekend

We signed Peter up for soccer (which started in April). At first, Peter was kind of shy about it and a little worried, but he took to it like a duck to water!

Above: Warm ups during Peter's very first soccer practice.

Above: Of course, Peter's buddy, Jonas, is on the team.

Above: These guys are good buddies!

Above: After Peter's soccer practice, we rushed down the mountain to 7-11 and bought some donuts and drinks for breakfast and then got back just in time for conference to start.

Above: As per our tradition, we played with Legos.

Above: Peter is getting to be such a good builder.

Above: Johnny was pretty excited.

Above: I sure love my sweet Pete!

Above: Kids have to improvise during conference. Peter decided to put on Dad's ski/snowboarding stuff.

Above: Cool like his Daddy!

Above: Johnny thought it was pretty cool.

Above: I love that sweet Johnny of mine!

Above: Even with goggles, his eyebrows are expressive.

Above: Here is Johnny pulling a ninja move. He kind of looks like he is surfing too though.

Above: Just Hangin'.

Above: I love that all you can see are Pete's hands in this picture, and the fact that Johnny is very amused by it.

Above: There's my sweet Pete!

Above: Johnny rocking out in some play glasses.

Above: Clark Kent or Superman? I can never be sure.

Above: I love that the helmet and boots were the last things he took off. :)

Above: Of course, as is our tradition, we put up our tent for the boys to watch conference in.

Above: The tent kind of gets these guys excited, so I try to put it up on Friday night so that they can get their tent wiggles out then. I want conference weekend to be something they look forward to and enjoy.

Above: I think Pete knows I don't like feet. ;)

Above: I love these guys, and I love conference weekend!
