May, Part 3: The End of the School Year

With all of the preparations to sell the house, the end of the school year came so quickly. Seriously, it was here before I knew it.

Above: Johnny didn't want to participate in his preschool graduation program, so he sat on the floor in front of his class who performed. Ha ha.

Above: Johnny and his best buddy, Eli, playing on the playground after preschool graduation.

Above: We got to go see Peter perform in the Ridgeline dance festival. It is one of my favorite traditions. It's so nice to sit on the grass, enjoy spring, listen to fun music, and see the kids dance their hearts out.

Above: Johnny brought his penguin beanie boo and he was snug as could be tucked into the drink holder of our camp chair.

Above: Johnny was pretty comfy too in his pajamas.

Above: Peter's class performed a Mexican hat dance way at the back of the field. I didn't see much of that. Lucky for me though, for the finale, they were front and center and I got a great view of my sweet and sassy Pete. He's such a good little dancer!

Above: Not to mention handsome! What a handsome guy he is!

Above: Peter in his element...social, social, social!

I can't believe the school year is over already and it is time to move...this weekend!

May, Part 2: My Birthday

Because it was so crazy preparing to move, we didn't do much for my birthday this year. I was definitely not in the mood to make a cake for myself.

Above: I found this at the grocery store and got one for Johnny and one for Peter just for the heck of it...and because it was so dang cute and I wanted to take a picture so I could recreate it for myself someday.

Above: I took this picture to demonstrate how the evil hair band fairies like to mess up my hair every night when I go to bed. 37 years old!

Above: My sweet Johnny enjoying his "burger and fries."

Above: My sweet and sassy Pete enjoying his "burger and fries."

Above: Sweet little Dan got to enjoy a few "fries" of his own!

Above: I sure love these boys. If this is what I have to show for my 37 years on Earth, I'm doing pretty well for myself, I think.

Above: Peter is really into giving "bunny ears" to everyone in pictures lately.

Above: Johnny picked out this birthday cake for me. Awww, what a sweet and thoughtful guy.

Above: My birthday actually landed on the same night as one of Peter's soccer games and boy was it a windy night!

Above: After the game, we went to Rumbi Island Grill for my birthday dinner.

Above: What a ham!

Above: This cute guy loved his fries!

Above: Happy birthday to me!

Above: Peter got his hamminess from me, I think.

Above: One breath to blow out my candles. Singer's lungs, people. :)

May, Part 1: Soccer

Soccer, soccer, and more soccer! I think we were really crazy to have both boys play soccer and for Jeremiah to coach both teams (while also juggling business trips) while we were preparing to move out of our house! We survived it though!

Above: I love that Pete is just doing his own thing, independent of the team, in this picture.

Above: It could be chilly at times, but Dan had his blanky to snuggle up with.

Above: Oh, isn't he so sweet?

Above: This guy is pretty sweet too.

Above: Johnny and Dan had some good times at those soccer games.

Above: Oh, the drama!

Above: Team spirit!

Above: Windy, windy, windy games!

Above: Crazy windy!

Above: Pete playing ball with some kids he just met (he can make friends wherever he goes) during Johnny's soccer game.

Above: Soccer didn't really seem to be Johnny's thing. It made him too nervous and he didn't really have fun doing it. We made it through the season...with a lot of bribery.

Above: Jeremiah does a great job of coaching. The kids love him.

Above: Close up so you can see Pete's intensity.

Above: Oh, it was a cold, cold day...and Dan was not happy with my efforts to keep him warm.

Above: "Mom, get this off of me!"
