March, Part 4: Daniel's Seventh Month!

How is my little Dan growing so fast? I sure am enjoying this time with him though. I have loved all of my babies, but (perhaps because I'm not so stressed about figuring out what the heck I am doing, or juggling a toddler and a baby at the same time) this time, I feel like I have really been able to enjoy this stage of life. I enjoyed my time with my other babies too, but this time around, it just feels less hectic and stressful, and just more enjoyable and precious. Which is kind of amazing, really, considering how busy I was and how stressful it was to prepare our house to be sold. It was such a tender mercy. Sweet Daniel was a long time in coming, but he was worth the wait and I have loved every minute of it.

Above: He just looks so much like a Mackay baby in this picture. He alternately reminds me of my brothers' baby pictures and sometimes my own baby pictures. I sure love this little cutie.

Above: Who wouldn't love waking up to this every morning?

Above: Dan has picked up eating like a pro!

Above: Just look at those sweet eyes!

Above: Oh, I just want to give him a hug!

Above: Dan got to celebrate his first St. Patrick's Day and it's a good thing mom had so many cute green things for him to wear because he did a lot of spitting up that day!

Above: Those are some sweet chubby cheeks!

Above: Is there anything more beautiful or wonderful than a sweet baby taking a nap on you/with you?

Above: Look at those sweet hazel eyes. For awhile, I thought they might change to brown, but they seem to be staying hazel after all. It's really cool because they change colors depending on what he is wearing. So, sometimes they really do look brown. Sometimes they look grey. They are so sweet and beautiful.

Above: Little baby, big chair.

Above; Time is flying by too fast, but as I said, I am loving every minute with my sweet baby Dan.

March, Part 3: St. Patrick's Day!

We always love to celebrate St. Patrick's Day at our house. I want my boys to be aware of their Irish heritage. I got them some green candy, chocolate gold coins, and some fun hats, etc. We also had corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes for dinner. Yum!

Above: I got my boys to pose for me in their St. Patrick's Day shirts before school. There were so many cute pictures, it was hard to choose which ones I liked the post (so I'm posting my favorites).

Above: The cutest little leprechaun of them all!

Above: Yummy Irish dinner!

Above: I sure have handsome and sweet boys!

Above: Despite his expression, Dan was a huge fan of St. Patrick's Day! Dan was also quite the spit up champ this day. I had the St. Patrick's Day shirt that matched his brother's shirts. I had a St. Patrick's Day onesie as well. After he spit up on both of those, he finished out the day in a pair of green jammies.
