May 2013, Part 2

Above: We sure have pretty mountains in Utah.

Above: Two of my sweet guys!

Above: Really pretty view...but too irresistible for Peter. We ended up having to leave early because he wouldn't obey us when we asked him to stay away from the river when he was by himself.

Above: We had good times while we were there though. The guys were always on the move, so I didn't really get any great pictures of them.

Above: Yup. Time to go! The call of the river was just too strong for Peter to resist, I guess.

Above: This was Peter's reaction to one of the cool fountains in the Conference Center. We decided to visit Temple Square on Memorial Day.

Above: One of the missionaries showed us the seats in the conference center where people sit for General Conference.

Above: The boys thought the reflecting pool was pretty cool.

Above: All three of my sweet guys.

Above: Johnny is sweet to give kisses.

Above: Balancing act.

Above: Johnny was pretty good at it!

Above: Checking out one of the visitor's centers at Temple Square.

Above: Checking out the model of the Salt Lake Temple.

Above: A little game of tag.

Above: It was actually kind of a rough morning. The boys had a good time, but we were all ready to head home for nap time when the time came.

Above: Checking out the other visitor's center.

Above: Heading up to see the Christus.

Above: Peter's first reaction was to touch the feet of the Christus.

Above: Doesn't he look little next to this statue?

Above: Jeremiah says we don't take enough pictures of me and that we need more documentation of me during this time in the boys' lives. So, here you have it. :)

Above: Checking out the scriptures in all of the different languages.

Above: Another outing we took was to visit Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point. The boys had so much fun!

Above: They loved all of the animals. Especially since there were a lot of baby animals. The baby goats were adorable.

Above: Peter riding his pony.

Above: Johnny was too afraid to ride a pony, but he didn't want to sit on the sidelines either. So, Jeremiah carried him while they walked alongside Peter. At the end of the ride, one of the horses relieved himself. It obviously made quite an impression on Johnny because now he calls Farm Country "Poop Horse." Every time he wants to come here, he says, "Poop Horse! Poop Horse!"

Above: Trying to make an escape.

Above: Still defiant and enjoying every minute of it!

Above: I sure love my sweet Johnny!

Above: We had a good time on our ride around farm country.

Above: He is sweet to me.

Above: As you can see from Jeremiah's face, the ride was EPIC.

Above: Oh no! He has escaped!

Above: I was trying to look sad, but I think this looks more like Zoolander's "Blue Steel" expression.

Above: Daddy and Johnny in front of the baby goats (those little goats were so active. You should see them jump on those rocks!).

Above: My future graduate. I was cleaning out one of the closets and intended to find another place for Jeremiah's graduation robe...Peter found it when I ran upstairs for a few minutes, and had other plans for what to do with the robe.

Above: Johnny loved "Poop Horse" so much that he asked to go again the very next day. He also insisted on wearing the same shirt...which miraculously was still clean, so, what the hey. As you can see, this time they escaped from prison as a team.

Above: I tried to look angry the next time, but that picture stunk too, so I decided to just enjoy myself in prison and wear a smile.

Above: Providing documentation of what both of look like during this time in our boys' lives. :)

Above: We had a great time on our trip to Farm Country/"Poop Horse" for the second time.

Next up...June!

  1. First...Peter rarely looks at the camera. Johnny is always ready for a picture. Peter is more than happy to run for the water...wherever it is at.
