October, Part 1: Conference Weekend, Cornbellies, and More!

Above: We went to the dinosaur museum with Nammy while Daddy went to the priesthood session of General Conference.

Above: We put up our tent and played Legos while we watched General Conference.

Above: Daniel slept for a lot of it. I had no complaints. Who wouldn't want to snuggle this guy during conference?

Above: The day after General Conference, we went to Cornbellies at Thanksgiving Point with the Washburn clan.

Above: I love this picture because it just looks like Peter is standing there, but on further inspection, he is in the air mid-jump.

Above: I love these next pictures. Here is my little drama Pete pretending like he needs help to be pulled up again. His cousin, Lauren, is doing her best to pull him up...

Above: Pete has a huge smile on his face...

Above: Lauren is still trying to help Pete up, but he is doing his best impersonation of a sack of potatoes...

Above: ...and down Lauren goes.

Above: Feet in the air, and both kids now on their bellies. Maybe that's why they call it Cornbellies...

Above: Johnny was happy to get in on the action too.

Above: After the kids got jumping out of their system, we headed over to the slides.

Above: Oh, my sweet rascally Pete. Why didn't I dress you in brighter clothes since you like to wander off so much?

Above: We were keeping an eye on all the kids, and they seemed pretty well contained, and they seemed to be sticking together.

Above: Jeremiah is helping Logan go down the slide.

Above: This is how sweet Daniel spent most of the night. What a sweetheart.

Above: There's my sweet Johnny! Oh, and poof! Just like that, Peter is gone. One second he was there, the next moment, he has wandered off. Let the search begin.

Above: Darn this kid. He got sick of the slides and decided it was time to move on to the bounce house/bounce slide section. However, he didn't see any need to go with anyone else, ask anyone, or tell anyone. After a few prayers, and some things muttered under our breath, we found Peter. Black shirts won't be an option next time. It's neon for him!

Above: Time for more soccer games. Daniel was a trooper.

Above: The sun is starting to go down earlier and earlier. That doesn't stop Peter from playing a good game though.

Above: Peter taking a break and Johnny playing games on my phone.

  1. Peter is a mover. That's so funny seeing those pictures with Lauren. Like he really wanted to be helped! I just want to rub Johnny's hair in this last picture.
