February, Part 4: Johnny's Fifth Birthday

Has it already been five years since my sweet Johnny was born? I can't believe how fast the time goes.

Above: When I asked Johnny how he wanted me to decorate his cake, he said, "I want a puppy and kitty picnic at the beach, and I want a puppy swimming in the water being attacked by sharks." WELL!

Above: I did my best with Johnny's request. Here's what I came up with. Johnny liked it, but he said that he wanted the sharked to actually be eating the puppy, not just chasing it. Ha ha! Well, you win some, you lose some.

Above: The boys were excited to see the cake anyway, even if it didn't meet expectations.

Above: Johnny had to get some Beanie Boos for his birthday. It was a must.

Above: Dan was excited about the festivities.

Above: Johnny was excited about his presents.

Above: Johnny's friend, Eli, had been over playing and he stayed around when it was time for Johnny to open up his presents.

Above: Johnny is such a good boy. I'm so grateful for him. He is sweet, creative, imaginative, and happy. He loves to draw and I love all of the pictures he creates. It was a good birthday. I sure love that sweet Johnny of mine.
