July, Part 8: Family Field Trip to the Lehi Hutchings Museum

There is a little museum in Lehi called the Hutchings Museum that I wanted to check out. It's a fun little museum that has a bit of everything. They have a Native American section with arrowheads and a taxidermied bird/animal section. They have a pioneer section with a little jail that the kids can go in. They have military uniforms from WWI and on. They have some interesting items from the turn of the last century. They have a cool geology section with some really neat rocks. They also have a really fun paleontology collection. I didn't get the greatest pictures and I should have taken more (they had a stuffed dodo bird that has since been removed...I wish I had gotten a picture of that).

Above: My sweet and silly Johnny. The kids were really not cooperating in regards to taking pictures this time around.

Above: Dan in front of a sarcosuchus skull.

Above: What a sweet and happy guy! He will always smile for the camera!

Above: At least these guys posed for the camera.

Above: They had a fun display of birthstones. These boys are always interested in seeing their birthstones.

Above: Again, I didn't get many pictures to show for it, but it was a fun little museum and a fun little field trip.
