Above: This is May 8th. We were greeted with a fresh blanket of snow. Yup, time to get the heck out of Dodge and head to a warmer climate!
Above: The boys thought the snow was pretty cool. They were excited to drive in their pajamas too. We went to the grocery store and got some donuts and snacks, and then headed on our way.
Above: This pretty much describes the tone of our drive to St. George.
Above: Yes, he looks happy...but this little bundle of energy asked, "Are we there yet?" only about an hour into our drive. He was very impatient to get to our destination.
Above: We had to take a ton of potty/sanity breaks. We stopped in Beaver, and we also stopped in a part of Cedar City to get some lunch and have a little picnic by this light house.
Above: Here are the boys in front of the light house.
Above: "Are we there yet?" Well, at this point, I think we still had about 45 minutes or an hour left in our drive.
Above: Ahhh. We made it.
Above: There is nothing like snuggling in a hotel room bed.
Above: Okay. Let's go again!
Above: Our first destination was the Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum. It was right across the street from our hotel.
Above: The boys were given some binoculars to use during our visit.
Above: This place was really cool, and the boys loved it.
Above: This museum really was cool.
Above: Jeremiah is always on a quest to prove that I was here too, and to show what I looked like at this phase of the boys' lives.
Above: The museum had a fun play area where you could dress up like you were on a safari.
Above: Johnny really loved the puzzles in the play area.
Above: Okay, a quick pose.
Above: Now, back to work.
Above: I love how different places just...look different. The palm trees and red rock give St. George such a different feel from Salt Lake City.
Above: Just reading with a couple of kid statues.
Above: After we went to the Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum, we decided to make a visit to the St. George Temple. This picture comes care of a garbage can across the way that I balanced my camera on, as well as my camera timer.
Above: Here is a close up.
Above: Here I am taking pictures of the boys.
Above: This temple is so beautiful.
Above: Tuckered out and ready to eat.
Above: A quick peek at the visitor's center.
Above: So many different languages!
Next up: Day 2 of our trip to St. George.
