Above: Johnny had kind of a restless night. After dropping Peter off at school, I asked Johnny if he wanted to go to the store to get some cookies to take to his preschool class the next day to celebrate his birthday. Johnny was excited to do that...and promptly fell asleep on the very short drive to the store from the school. So, I let Johnny sleep for about 30 minutes and then we went in and picked up his cookies.

Above: Blowing out the candles on his birthday cake. I sure love this sweet boy of mine. He is getting to be so big...but he still wants to be little. He isn't too keen on the idea of a baby coming in and taking his spot as the youngest. I just keep telling him that he is going to be super special because he will be both a younger brother (to Peter) and an older brother (to Daniel). We might have an adjustment period ahead of us...but I sure love this guy. I will need to make sure that he feels very loved and special. Besides, there is no one who could take Johnny's place!
Johnny sure knows how to pose. He looks so much like Jeremiah.
