January, Part 2: Peter's 6th Birthday!

Above: How did this sweet, crazy, imaginative guy of mine get to be 6 years old already? Here he is taking a drink with the mustache straw that Dad got for him.

Above: Here is Peter's Minecraft birthday cake.

Above: This cake was not safe from Pete. He decimated the Jell-O water long before it was time to blow out the candles.

Above: Pete got a sports bedspread for one of his birthday presents.

Above: He also got a Trash Pack battle arena.

Above: He got the Minecraft game and some Minecraft Legos to match his Minecraft cake.

Above: I sure have some handsome guys!

Above: I know the past few pictures were pretty similar, but I couldn't decide which ones I liked best!

Above: Nammy gave Pete some really cool Lego sets. Here's the beach house. He also got a tree house.

Above: The beach house could open and close. How cool is that? I can't seem to find the pictures of the Lego tree house set that Nammy also gave Peter. That Nammy always picks the best presents!

Above: Using Lego surfboards as tusks.

Above: Did you know that tusks can grow on the top and the bottom? Here's proof.

Above: The week after Peter's birthday, Dad was out of town on a business trip so I took the boys to the Museum of Natural Curiosity down at Thanksgiving Point. They each got to pick out one toy from the gift shop for the respective birthdays. They each chose some stuffed animal snakes. Here they are posing with their snakes so we could send a picture to Dad and show him what they picked out.

Above: Right after Peter's birthday, he also got to decorate a poster for 100's Day at school. He used his Trash Pack stickers (he got a Trash Pack sticker book for one of his birthday presents) to decorate his poster.

I sure love my sweet Pete. He has gotten so big and he is getting to be so grown up. We've definitely had a lot of adventures with this guy along the way...and I am sure we will have a lot more, but I wouldn't trade this sweet guy of mine for the world.

  1. I just love Peter. It's hard to imagine that it's been six years but he seems more grown up every day.
