November, Part 1: Thanksgiving and Other Things

Above: We went to The Museum of Natural Curiosity with my friend, Nicole, and her boys.

Above: They all had a lot of fun!

Above: Thanksgiving dinner at Mom's house the Sunday before Thanksgiving. This was one. crazy. night. These boys were so wild! Running nonstop and making tons of messes (and a lot of noise). Next time, we will need to have some activities planned for the cousins to keep them busy.

Above: Johnny's preschool Thanksgiving program.

Above: The house seemed so bare after I took down our Halloween decorations, so I decided to do some fall/harvest/Thanksgiving decorating this year.

Above: We got our house refinanced so we could remove our mortgage insurance and lower our monthly payment. I did a LOT of cleaning and organizing in preparation for the appraisal. Lots of work. I had to document my super clean house because I knew it wouldn't be that spotless again in a long time.

Above: Why is it so hard to keep my house clean? This guy is one of the reasons...his brother is the other reason.

Above: Peter also developed an allergic reaction that gave us a good scare the week of Thanksgiving. We are pretty sure it was an allergic reaction to some amoxicillin he was prescribed. More on that situation in December's posts.

Above: For Thanksgiving, we had our own Thanksgiving feast at home. That's right, we stayed in at our place and just spent the day together as a family. We got some movies from Red Box and the boys entertained themselves by playing with my boots...my poor boots that are never safe from these boys.

Above: I love these wild and crazy boys!

Above: These boys had a lot of fun together on Thanksgiving. It was a great day. Lots of cooking for me, but very low-key and relaxing.

  1. Some fun traditions. I had blocked out Thanksgiving, but your post brought it back. Better plan next year. Better plan.
