Above: Enjoying some fun abominable snowman (from Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer) suckers. Thanks, Nammy! Pete wanted to look like a scary monster for this picture.
Above: Also showing off some fun mini gingerbread houses that Nammy gave us.
Above: The day after Thanksgiving means all of the Christmas decorations get put up. Here is our collection of nativities.
Above; The wreath that I made with my mother-in-law and sisters-in-law for Halloween inspired me...to buy a wreath for Christmas. Yeah, I am not talented enough to make them all myself!
Above: The boys helped me decorate the red, green, gold, and silver tree on our landing.
Above: I made the mistake of buying these gingerbread house kits in Johnny's presence. He asked me about them nonstop for about two weeks. I couldn't handle the constant questioning about it and we decorated them much sooner than I had originally planned.
Above: Jeremiah is always a master builder and decorator.
Above: Peter was very focused on the details of his house.
Above: The boys had a lot of fun making them.
Above: Of course, as soon as they were completed, the boys were ready to eat them. They don't let them sit for long...oh no, not these boys. Our gingerbread houses are lucky to last 20 minutes...forget 24 hours or more.
Next up, lots of December adventures.
Fun traditions. Your kids will have some great memories.
